These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by UMESAFE Transport & Logistics. By booking or using our transport and logistics services, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Services Scope

UMESAFE provides logistics and transportation services including road transport, cargo handling, warehousing and door-to-door delivery, subject to availability and operational feasibility.

3. Booking & Documentation

• Customers must provide accurate shipment details, including weight, value and nature of goods.
• UMESAFE is not responsible for delays or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete information.

4. Prohibited & Restricted Goods

The following items are strictly prohibited unless declared and permitted by law:

• Illegal or hazardous materials
• Explosives, flammable substances
• Contraband or restricted items as per government regulations

UMESAFE reserves the right to refuse such consignments.

5. Packaging Responsibility

Proper packaging is the responsibility of the sender. UMESAFE will not be liable for damage resulting from inadequate or improper packaging.

6. Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines are estimated and may vary due to traffic conditions, weather, strikes, mechanical issues, or government restrictions. Delays under such circumstances shall not be considered a breach of service.

7. Liability & Insurance

• UMESAFE’s liability is limited as per applicable transport laws.
• Insurance coverage, if required, must be requested separately by the customer at the time of booking.

8. Payment Terms

• All charges must be paid as agreed before or upon delivery.
• Delayed payments may attract additional charges or service suspension.

9. Cancellation & Refund

• Cancellations must be informed in advance.
• Refund eligibility depends on service stage and operational expenses incurred.

10. Damage & Loss Claims

• Any damage or loss must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
• Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.

11. Customer Obligations

Customers agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to transportation and logistics services.

12. Force Majeure

UMESAFE shall not be held responsible for failure or delay due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, accidents, or government actions.

13. Modification of Terms

UMESAFE Transport & Logistics reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, and disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Indian courts.
